Choosing Right Shoe Laces For Your Golf Shoes

Golf is an outdoor sport that requires a great degree of precision. Golf is played with the help of a club and a ball along with other standard accessories. As a golfer, your main target is to put the small golf ball in 9 or 18 holes found in the golf course. You can achieve higher degree of precision if you are in control of your game. Even a small distraction can result in costly blunders.

If you are a feisty and competitive type of golfer, then you would probably want to oust these nasty niggles that hinder your focus. I have seen people who go to great lengths in order keep their heads in the game of golf at all times. I have come across golfers who check a number of brands of clubs, shoes, balls, shirts, pants etc. To make sure they have the right things for a perfect game. This kind of a preparation is required to have a great game. One more factor that should be taken into account is golf shoe laces.

When you are playing golf, you need to feel comfortable with your accessories. This includes your golf shoes. When you are on golf course, you have to move around on a variety of landscape. You may have to walk through tall grass, sandy pits or rocky terrain. Moreover, you might see watery areas on golf course. Different types of surfaces may harm your golf shoes. The standard shoelaces become stretched and flaccid in such conditions and this causes the deterioration of the shoe shape and fit. A lot of people complain that the shoe loses its feel just after a few days of use.

Golfers often say that they lose their focus during the game because of uncomfortable shoes. This causes them to dispose of the damaged laces and have them replaced time and again. This may become really irritating for golfers. However, there is a good solution to this problem.

A new brand of golf shoe laces is can be found in the market. I am talking about a shoe lace that is made up of carbonized stainless steel. When you use these shoe laces with your golf shoes, then your shoe gets an efficient shape and grip. Because of the durability of the stainless steel involved, the shoes retain its characteristics for a much longer period, allowing you the peace of mind to focus on your game.

The stainless steel shoe laces can be found in various shoe stores. You can also find these on various online shoe stores. These laces will give you recurring benefits. It is recommended that you go for a golf shoe pair which supports this latest technology. It will not only save you from quite a bit of hassle but will also lead to an enhanced performance. This promising feature is sure to give you an edge over other players on the golf course.

New Balance – Maker Of High Quality Golf Shoes

I’ve written a ton of different articles about different New Balance shoes. Most of these have been of the walking or running variety. They also have a few different trail shoes that I looked at. One thing that hasn’t been written about much is their extensive line of sport shoes. While they don’t quite do the volume that Nike and Reebok of the world do, New Balance still makes very high quality shoes for a ton of different sports. One such shoe is the 1275. It’s a golf shoe and holds up well against many of it’s competitors. In the following text, we’ll look at the different features of this relatively new shoe.

When you’re looking for a golf shoe, aesthetics are very important. This isn’t necessarily the case with running shoes or walking shoes. Who really cares what you look like when you’re running down the street? The golf course is a different place though. Being polite and classy is a must. Luckily, the New Balance 1275 golf shoes have a great look to them. They’re traditional, yet modern. The best part about these shoes, though, is the fact that they have many of the same technological innovations that you’ll find on New Balance’s high end running shoes. This way, you get the look of a golf shoe, but the comfort of a runner.

Of all the features that you’ll find in the NB 1275 mens and womens shoes, the ABZORB cushioning is probably the nicest one. If you’ve ever walked an entire golf course before, you know how tough it can be on your feet. It’s crucial that the shoe you choose has sufficient padding and support for the sole of your foot. Because of this, New Balance included their patented EVA foam mid sole that helps to keep you walking on air!

There are also a few features on this shoe that you won’t find on any other New Balance product. One such feature is the Poliyou Antibacterial Inserts. As I mentioned above, being classy is a huge part of golf. It’s important that you don’t stink! Unfortunately, it’s often the feet that get smelly after a few holes. The inserts found in these shoes do a good job of killing bacteria and that rotten smell! The 1275′s are also equipped with Dri-Lex sweat control and DryWorks waterproof material. For those of you that live in wet climates, this is a must have.

All in all, I think the New Balance 1275 golf shoes are as good as any on the market. If golf isn’t your thing and you just want to walk or run, check out my other reviews of the NB 1122 and the NB 805. Cheers!

What Kind Of Golf Shoes Are Best?

When you play 18 holes of golf, you are on your feet for three to five hours or more. On a typical 6,500-yard course you may walk 4-6 miles uphill, downhill and sidehill. Your feet must provide stability during your golf swing. If your feet slip during your swing, your balance is thrown off resulting in a muffed golf shot. This is particularly true when the course is wet. So what is the best golf shoe?

Your shoes affect not only your feet, but the rest of your body

Your golf shoe is a key part of your golf equipment. You want your shoes comfortable, functional, light, flexible and stylish. Choose carefully. Good shoes should help prevent injury by providing proper stability.

Trends in golf shoe design

Golf shoes with replaceable metal golf spikes came on the market in the 1890s. While they gave the golfer greater stability during the golf swing, they were not without their problems:

  • they could tear up a carefully manicured green
  • when worn inside they mar floors
  • they place hard pressure points where the spikes are attached — shoe designers had to make sure the soles of the shoe were stiff enough to distribute the pressure throughout the sole.
  • they were not always the most comfortable shoes

Nevertheless, metal spikes persisted until the 1990s when they were replaced by plastic or rubber spikes. These newer spikes are lighter and not as destructive of greens and floors. Many golf courses today prohibit metal spikes.

Designers are now paying more attention to comfort and performance. Shoes are becoming more flexible while at the same time providing more foot support. They are also designed for comfort.

A new trend is toward golf shoes that have multiple smaller and softer cleats covering the sole of the shoe. They are designed for maximum comfort in a new softer shoe style that doesn’t look like a golf shoe. They are in fact called spikeless golf shoes.

Which is the best golf shoe for you?

If you play much golf, it’s a good idea to focus on your feet and be sure your golf shoes are comfortable. Take a look at all the new styles available today. You have many choices.

During The Masters Golf 2011 Fred Couples wore the comfortable new stylish spikeless golf shoe. You’ll have to decide which shoe is best for you.

Whichever one you choose, make sure it is comfortable and provides good support for your feet and body.

Are you satisfied with your golf game? Does your golf swing produce consistent golf shots that go exactly where you want them? All golfers need help with their swing — even pros. You can get help from your local pro or get onboard with an excellent team of golf instructions online. They can help you fix your golf swing.

AdiPURE Golf Shoes Review

In my opinion golf shoes are one of the most important pieces of equipment a golfer will purchase. As someone who walks the majority of my rounds, it’s even more important for me. After wearing Footjoys for the previous 8 seasons, I decided it was time to change things up.

(The AdiPURE golf shoe by Adidas in Black with white stripes)

After doing some research and trying on several shoes from various companies, I settled on the AdiPURE golf shoes by Adidas (Cost: $250). In my opinion, it was the most comfortable shoes I tried on and still had a classic look to it. Many of the golf shoes now look more like sneakers, something I wasn’t ready to take on for my number one pair.

What I Like About The AdiPURE Golf Shoes

When I look at golf shoes I look for three things: comfort, functionality, and style. These might seem obvious but I’ve seen people buy less comfortable shoes just because they look a little better. If you’re walking a golf course for five hours, you want to be comfortable.

The moment I put on the AdiPURE golf shoes I knew comfort wouldn’t be an issue. The soft leather and cushioned sole put it at the top of my list. I had never had a true leather shoe before and it’s probably because I didn’t want to spend $250 on golf shoes. I now understand why people do. I did experience some out of the box comfort but now that I have worn them for several rounds and they have broken in, the comfort is unlike anything I have ever felt in a golf shoe.

Footjoy Golf Shoes Review

There are many, many brands of golf shoes on the market. It can be difficult to know which ones are worth buying and which ones are a waste of money. Golf Shoes – Things To Consider Before Purchasing

With the multitude of options in golf shoes these days, figuring out which ones are best for you can be a daunting task, especially if you are new to the game. Here are some factors to consider when buying golf shoes.

Price – Golf shoes can range from around $35 to $300 and more. Just like in most things, you get what you pay for in golf shoes. They range from synthetic leather on the inexpensive end to the finest calfskin leather on the more expensive end, with a multitude of features in between. The more expensive golf shoes will last you longer, feel better on your feet, and, yes, actually help your golf game believe it or not.

How often you play – This is probably the deciding factor on how much you want to spend on golf shoes. If you only play golf twice a year, you might not be willing to shell out $300 on a pair of golf shoes. You may be just fine with that $35 pair of golf shoes. Of course, how good you look plays a part in this as well. If you want to look like you play golf twice a year, then go for the $35 pair. If you want to look great even if your game isn’t, then step up to the plate and get those beautiful expensive golf shoes

Fit – Obviously you need to get the correct size. The last that the golf shoe is built on has much to do with getting the correct fit of shoe for you. FootJoy alone uses over 20 lasts for the shoes that they build. So it’s important to check out sizing guides online for golf shoes if you are purchasing them online.

Waterproof Warranty – Golf shoes range from water-resistant, which means there is no waterproof warranty, to shoes having a two-year waterproof guarantee. Again, the more waterproof warranty you opt for, the more expensive the golf shoes will be. Obviously, if you’re a dew sweeper and play a lot of golf in the morning, it is most wise to go for the golf shoes that carry a two-year waterproof warranty. Most of these shoes will stay waterproof for longer if you take good care of them. We’ll touch on that later.

Leather or Synthetic – As you might imagine, this aspect of golf shoes is a major deciding factor in the price of the golf shoes that you are interested in purchasing. Fine calfskin leather shoes will be much more expensive than synthetic leather shoes. The calfskin leather golf shoes will also be much more comfortable on your feet and will mold and stretch into the most comfortable shoes you’ll probably have in your closet Leather shoes will also have waterproof capability that the synthetic leather golf shoes won’t. There are different grades of leather used in golf shoes, and as the grade gets better, the price will increase.

Caring for your golf shoes – The single most important thing you can do to keep your golf shoes lasting their longest is to use shoe trees in them. Before you rip them off and throw them in the trunk of your car, put shoe trees in them first These provide two things; shoe trees draw the moisture (sweat) out of your golf shoes, and also maintain the shape of the shoes, especially if they are leather. That way the next time you pull them out to play golf, your golf shoes won’t have curled up and shrunk a size or two. You can also keep them relatively clean by simply wiping them down with your golf towel after your round. Of course the best way to care for them is to have the locker room attendant clean and polish them for you

If you ever have any questions about these factors or any other aspect of making your golf shoe purchase decision, please don’t hesitate to ask

Adidas TOUR360 4.0 Golf Shoe Review

In autumn 2009 Adidas launched its latest shoe, the TOUR360 4.0 Golf Shoe, which is the next shoe on from the ever popular TOUR360 3.0 shoe. This has become the most technologically advanced shoe Adidas has ever made and includes their new THiNTech low-profile technology.

This is designed to bring golfers as low to the ground as possible which in turn improves balance, stability, power and aids weight transfer. This low profile approach is aided by their new golf spike which also allows the golfer to be closer to the ground.

This lower profile means the golfer has a better and surer contact with the ground and leads to more consistency of ball strike. When you think about it it makes sense that the closer you are to the ground the more stable you will be. If you take this to an extreme think about playing golf in high heels, how stable would you feel in those?

Also new to the next-generation TOUR360 4.0 is uni-body construction that connects the heel counter to the outsole to promote a greater level of stability.

Obviously stability is only one factor to be considered in a golf shoe, comfort and how they keep out the water are probably the main things golfers look for. I have not worn these shoes but if they fit as well as their predecessor the Tour360 3.0 then they will undoubtedly be ultra comfortable. They come in two different widths to help you find the perfect fit.

Looks wise Adidas shoes have always delivered and these are no exception with 5 colour schemes on offer so you can get the look you wish.

Other features include:

•A new redesigned chassis that delivers greater stability.

•Silver filament fibres have been woven into the lining to help regulate foot temperature for added comfort.

•Extra heel cushioning.

•An incorporated sock liner for added comfort and support.

•100% waterproof guaranteed.

All in all this is a great shoe with every conceivable bit of technology built in to provide comfort and performance. If you are looking for a new pair of golf shoes then you will not go wrong with these. They carry a RRP of 119.99.
